Business Analyst Volunteering

My goal is to get the Business Analyst position in IT company. For personal development I am ready to assist free.

My knowledge and skills:

-          Understanding of full lifecycle development process from requirements gathering to rollout;

-          Basic knowledge of different software development methodologies (RUP, XP, MSF);

-          Deep knowledge of SCRUM methodology;

-          Experience in gathering and formalization/regulation of requirements;

-          BPMN diagrams;

-          Intermediate English;

-          Good communication and presentation skills.

I am waiting for tasks :)

ИМХО, вам проще закончить курсы, а-ля IT mine и пойти на оплачиваемую работу (и там уже прокачиваться по CBAP).

Вариант №2: Зайдите на dev.by — отфильтруйте компании по размеру (начиная с ЕПАМ) и отошлите резюме на стартовые позиции QA и разработчиков. В крупных компаниях процесс карьерного развития построен — со временем дорастете до аналитика.

Почему?
Выскажу мнение, что особенности работы бизнес-аналитика создают определенные риски для проекта, поэтому описанная ситуация выглядит сомнительной (вам не платят — вы ничего не должны). Кроме того, работа сотрудника связана с определенными нормативными процедурами, так что работодатель должен будет вам что-то да и оплатить.

Dear Andrii,

I think you attitude is not wrong; there are public non-profit projects where people do not have an idea yet who is a BA and how important this role is.

To  develop your skills, this is in my opinion also a good start; in a public non-profit project they are always greatful for help, and if things go wrong, that’s more acceptable than in the commercial world.

Have a look at FIWARE, or sigspl.org just two name two of them. If you like, I can provide more information.
