Technical Writer (Information Design)

Wargaming is looking for a Technical Writer to join the Information Design Team and create unique, quality documentation.

What will you do?

Develop, localize, and update game instructional materials (FAQs, promo guides, quick start guides, and full guides)
Create and localize rich media content (interactive widgets and animations) for Wargaming portals
Translate, proofread, and edit internally and externally created content to ensure quality and stylistic consistency
Design content and graphics for corporate documents
Prepare presentations
Visualize complicated data
Build wireframes and interactive prototypes
Develop and update documentation templates

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or a related discipline
Excellent knowledge of English and Russian
Professional writing, editing, and proofreading experience
Ability to produce and tune creative content in a timely fashion
Outstanding analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to explain complex processes in a simple and user-friendly manner
Ability to collect, structure, and visualize vast amounts of information
Good command of PC and Microsoft Office software
Fast learning abilities

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Experience in writing and designing user documentation
Strong understanding of usability principles
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
Basic to advanced skills with Adobe tools (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Edge Animate)
Knowledge of Microsoft Manual of Style and Chicago Manual of Style
Experience in IT sphere
Gaming experience
